Notes from the meeting of the men's golf association (MGA)
The meeting opened at 4pm.
Ed Renew (president) let us all know that he would be out of pocket for a while and that he wanted Dave Tuplin to take his place for a while.
Dave Tuplin agreed.
A discussion about tournaments took place.
It was decided that a dog fight would be arranged for every Saturday starting from Oct 19.
Entry fee $10 (10% stays with MGA)
Brian and Mike would arrange these dog fights.
It was confirmed with The main Board President (Bo) that no special clearance is necessary.
Subject to main board approval - A special tournament with a meal afterwards will arranged for December 7
Barry will arrange that meal which would come from MGA funds.
Mike and Brian will decide on the format and make the necessary arrangements.
Dave will meet with the Main Board.
A discussion took place about how to promote the MGA.
A major priority was to get all the members full details onto a computer.
Dave Tuplin will fix up a small website.
A further meeting was decided for Friday 18 at 5pm to work on getting membership info
